Olduvai Gorge Tanzania Tariff Increase

Tanzania authorities have announced an increase in the entryfee to view Olduvai Gorge and visit the Gorge's museum. This increase will gointo effect from 01 February 2012. The implementation of this increase wasobjected to by the Tanzania Association of Tour Operators in hopes that morenotice could be provided but they were not successful in their efforts.

The price will increase from the current $3.00 per person to$17.00 per person.
